Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

The short version: Pounce does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no trackers. Everything the app remembers stays on your device.

Who we are

Pounce is published by Fast Aperture Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Pounce iOS app and the website at pouncecatgame.com.

Information we do not collect

We want to be specific, because "we care about your privacy" statements often are not. Pounce does not collect any of the following:

The app requests no system permissions and contains no advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.

Information stored on your device

Pounce keeps a small amount of information locally so the game works the way you left it. This never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and is deleted when you delete the app:

Subscriptions and purchases

Pounce Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system, handled entirely by Apple's own StoreKit framework. No third-party payment or subscription-management service is involved.

We never see or receive your payment details, and no purchase information is sent to us or to anyone else. Your subscription status is verified on your device by Apple, using a receipt cryptographically signed by Apple. Nothing about your purchase leaves your device except to Apple itself.

Apple's own handling of your purchase is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Children

Pounce is designed for cats, and is safe for households with children. It collects no data from anyone, including children under 13, and complies with COPPA by virtue of collecting nothing at all. It contains no chat, no social features, no user-generated content, and no links out to third-party content other than the legal pages referenced here.

This website

pouncecatgame.com is a static site hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. We do not set cookies and we do not run analytics. Firebase Hosting maintains standard server request logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and reliability purposes; this is described in the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or erase on request. If you want to remove everything Pounce has stored, delete the app from your device. To cancel a subscription, open Settings > your Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how Pounce handles data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
